Trail Location
From Fort Collins take Highway 287 north 11 miles to Highway 14. Turn left on CO 14 and travel 10.8 miles. Turn right on the bridge that crosses the Poudre river to the trail head parking lot.
Trail Information
The trail leads North following an old road along Gordon Creek past some foundations remaining from old homesteads. The trail travels through a narrow canyon with several stream crossings. The trail has several branches to the left, the main trail follows and crosses the stream several more times. Once the main trail turns left, uphill and away from the stream, the officially maintained trail ends.
